What’s Kinky skills and Chills?

Kinky Skills and Chills is a fresh take on the traditional skill share nights in the BDSM community.  It is a place that is open to beginners and people who have been in the scene for a long time. Learn a new skill, help out others in learning a new skill, or just relax and chat with friends.

We have asked respected, safe, and knowledgeable people from our local community to share a particular skill, or demonstration set for each night. This is great for people who maybe interested in a particular type of play but didn't know where to start.  There are 2 categories that fit our skill share nights, demonstration only, or with a practical lab component.  Please read the event description.

Do I have to participate in the theme of the night?

No. The theme, or what the demonstrator is sharing that night is just a suggestion. If you wish to work on a different skill but need a safe environment to do so, or you need a volunteer to practise on, please feel free to do so at the Kinky  Skills and Chills. However, please remain respectful to the presenter.

What do I need to bring?

Although using your own equipment is preferred, you can attend without equipment, especially if you are just starting out. There are people around who are willing to help you.  However, if you wish to work on a particular skill then please bring your own equipment that is needed for that skill. We provide viro clean, which can be found throughout the venue for you to clean equipment after use. Please be respectful of the venue and dispose of paper towels correctly.

Can I just chill and catch up with friends?

Yes. You are welcome to sit, chill with friends and socialise.  Just be respectful of the keynote speaker, or demonstrator.   Food and drink are available for purchase at the venue.

What can I wear?

This is a closed private event so you may choose to wear whatever you are comfortable in. But traditionally people just wear casual comfortable clothing.

What if I'm new?

If you are new to the scene and just started exploring the magical world of kink then welcome. Please contact the organisers if you wish to have someone greet you and guide you through the night. You can contact us via email: info@mychurchofkink.com, Facebook messenger, DM on Instagram, or Fetlife.

Where can I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased before the event via our website, or at the door on the night. We accept cash and card.
